Om nomb. That’s the noise my brain makes when it sees superlative food being discussed. I like reading the likes of Jeffrey Steingarten to prompt that kind of noise.
This is Ice Cream Ireland. I know, it’s a freezing cold day in a freezing cold week but the pictures, recipes and writing are all good enough to prompt me to make them a regular read.
With a nod to the weather they currently have posts on Bittersweet Hot Chocolate and useful tips on how to make the best coffee. And as I say, it appears that their ice cream is on sale in superquinn. I have a superquinn nearby. I will now buy their ice cream on the next visit. I hope they have the Honey and Lavender in single serve pots.
I doubt they have. But I can hope.
PS: The best ice cream I ever had was an apple ice cream from Rome. I will always buy an apple ice cream if I see one for sale.

Thanks so much for the mention! Unfortunately we don’t have the honey lavender in tubs, but I hope you find something you like!
As for apple ice cream, that’s actually a flavour I’ve never done. I did a blackberry and apple sorbet, but that’s the closest. I’ll have to work on it!
Do you remember the name of the shop in Rome?
Hmm. It was recommended by the AA guide, and was two streets away from the Trevi Fountain. I’ll let you know if I find the book.
By the way, do you have all the flavours listed on your website in Superquinn? I’ve only ever seen the Vanilla and the Rasberry Sorbet.
