This week I talk about Francis Denby’s The Opening Of The Sixth Seal. It is a huge, gloomy picture of the apocalypse that used to entrance me as a child.
I discuss the sublime, Romanticism, the campaign for emacipation of slaves and quote the Bible all in less than 5 minutes.

into your podcast collecting programme, such as iTunes.
Be warned though- the MP3 feed is likely to be the main focus for the time being, unless there is a surge of interest in Apple’s iPod-only format. The advantage of AAC (or m4a, as it sometimes calls itself, sneakily) is that if you’re playing it on a colour screen ipod, I can add pictures. The problem with it is (a) not everyone uses an iPod and (b) I’m not always going to have a picture.
