Just because it surrounds us everyday, we ought not allow madness to go unchallenged. Fústar, in answer to my pleading, has turned his attention to one of the great mysteries of Irish life.
One of the unexpected offshoot discussions arising from the Blog Awards was the discomfort some of those attending felt at seeing their photographs and, to a lesser extent, discussions of them in general, appearing online afterwards. What that girl, Piaras Kelly and Damien Mulley's discussion boils down to is what degree of control a person can have over how they are depicted.
The Blog Awards are starting to look like the start of something new in Baile na Bloga. People are feeling that they want some kind of follow up already, without having to wait a year. I'm pretty sure that something is stirring in the undergrowth.
