Why I’m not a Progressive
I struggled with the title for this post. What I really wanted to call it was “You are not a Progressive”. I’ve compromised on this impulse to tell people that their beliefs are just wrong.

This week, Anglo-Irish Bank- the financing wing of the Fianna Fail/ Property Developer axis which has actually run the country for its own benefit for the last 15 years- finally keeled over dead.

If politics is a battle for power, Bertie Ahern was never beaten. If politics is a clash of ideas, he leaves us with a nil-all draw.

Election 07: What do PR people think?
If you're working in PR, an election can mean a shower of extra work- if you can persuade a politician or political party that you have a particular insight.
